Meet the Founders
Sleep Therapy didn't start in a boardroom. It started at our dinner table.
We're not a company that hired a founder to make a brand story. We're the family: a
mother, a daughter, and a son, who built this together, because we believed in it before it
had a name.
The Belief - Shilpa, the Mom
The idea, the belief, and the late nights (ironically) spent thinking about how to help
everyone else sleep better.
I came to this not from an industry background, but from years of watching how much
of our daily life depended on how well we'd slept the night before.
When my family was truly rested, I saw it everywhere: more patience, more warmth,
less irritation, faster recovery when someone fell sick. And along the way, I noticed the
bedding itself had a lot to do with it. The nights we slept on natural fabric that actually
felt good and breathed well, those were the nights that created beautiful days.
That's when it stopped feeling like a coincidence. Sleep isn't a small piece of a good life,
it's the piece everything else is built on. And the setting you sleep in matters more than
we think.
That belief became Sleep Therapy
The Perfectionist - Padmlaxmi
Sharp, unflappable, and probably the only person in this family who reads contracts for
fun. She's currently training to be a lawyer, which means she brings a precision and
no-nonsense clarity to this brand that the rest of us didn't know we needed. She also
happens to have impeccable taste, and a love for all things beautiful. She brings meaning
to life, and to Sleep Therapy.
The Dreamer - Kanishq
Ambitious in a way that keeps the rest of us on our toes. He works while chasing a few
ideas that sound a little wild on paper - the kind that make you nervous and excited at
once. He's the one who pushes us to think bigger and never settle for the safe, expected
version of anything. Sleep Therapy exists partly because he refused to let a good idea
stay just an idea.
We built this the way we'd want any family to build something - together, with opinions,
love, and one shared belief: the people you care about deserve to feel truly rested.
